Every day after school clubs are organized. Clubs are envisaged to develop the students’ psychological and physical development, coordination and at the same time enable them to socialize with their peers. Clubs are organized on the basis of expressed student interest.

Some of the clubs currently organized in Chartwell Secondary School are:

FOOTBALL CLUB

The main aim of the football club will be to teach the students basic football skills (passing, receiving and moving with the ball), to try to develop their knowledge through some more complicated skills (shooting, dribbling and movement), to develop specific motoric skills which are necessary for football activities, and to teach them the rules of the game.

BASKETBALL CLUB

The main aim of the basketball club will be to teach the students basic basketball skills (passing, receiving, dribbling and shooting), to try to develop their knowledge through some more complicated skills (offensive and defensive playing through 1:1, to teach them how to co-operate in the game), to develop specific motoric skills which are necessary for basketball activities, and to teach them the rules of the game.

BADMINTON CLUB

The main aim of the badminton club will be to teach the students basic badminton skills (forehand and backhand), to try to develop their knowledge through some more complicated skills to develop specific motoric skills which are necessary for badminton activities, and to teach them the rules of the game.​

ZUMBA DANCE

Zumba dance is a dance program which includes DANCE with an aerobic element. The dances and choreographies include music with fast and slow rhythms and they are intended for teenagers who love to dance and have fun. Music comes from the following dance styles: cumbia, salsa, merengue, mambo, reggae ton, samba, hip hop music, house music... everything that today's teens listen.

DRAMA CLUB

The Drama Club’s ultimate goal is to nurture students into confident and independent young adults. They will be self-directed learners and pursue challenges with an open mind and creative spirit. They will also become cultured individuals who appreciate the arts.
