Hello from Foundation 2!
Preparing for the real Santa to come we got busy making our own little Santas. Don’t they look great? Then it was time to give a warm welcome to the famous fellow. Some photos were taken but irresistible as we are, we also found a way to engage him playing with us. And, this much we can tell you, the man’s got pretty cool pocket watch!
With Autumn in its full swing F2 children decided to go and explore the nature. Though the weather was cold we had a wonderful walk in the Topcider park and there we observed closely in our warm
The Fireworks Are So Loud !
This week Nursery group was observing apples. We noticed that apples can be big and small, green yellow and red.In the circle time we sorted apples by colour and we liked to count them.The children did apple printing and we also made some lovely apples for our big tree.If you look closely at our tree, you will see a little worm peeping out of the apples.We had lots of play! On Monday we all had some Halloween fun. We all loved our costumes and had no problems parading for our friends and teachers!

Preparing for the UN Day Celebration Foundation children got busy exploring the big wide world. There is so much to see and learn so we thought it best to start with our friends’ countries.The children had a look at the colours of their flags and made little flag people.
Although we didn’t have a lot of children this week, the Nursery group were busy with a new theme ‘Halloween’. In circle time we introduced the colour orange.
The leaves on the trees turn orange and red
Nursery group really enjoy our little ‘Autumn’ theme ’.Circle time is getting more interesting and we can get all the children sitting and participating. After our songs we sorted leaves by size and colours. We learnt a new song ‘The leaves on the trees turn orange and red’. We also did some leaf printing. The children really loved it.

This week the Nursery group started with a new theme ‘Autumn’. In circle time we learnt a new song ‘What’s the weather out today?’ and we started to use our Weather Chart. As always we enjoyed craft activity. We made autumn leaves to decorate our big tree in the classroom.
