As part of their current topic on bees and bugs, F2 students visited the Bee Center to learn more about these fascinating insects while also celebrating World Bee Day. During the visit, students discovered interesting facts about different types of bees and learned about their important role in nature and food production.
The children had the opportunity to see a real beehive and honeycomb, giving them a closer look at where bees live and store their honey. They also learned about the honey-making process, from collecting nectar from flowers to producing the sweet honey we enjoy.
To make the experience even more memorable, students tasted delicious honey and explored its different flavors and textures. The visit was both educational and exciting, helping children connect their classroom learning with real-life experiences while developing a deeper appreciation for bees and the natural world.
