Year 3D has been on an exciting journey into the ancient world, discovering how tools, weapons, and trade completely changed the way early civilisations lived.

Students explored artefacts such as decorated pots, jewelry made from shells and stones, and weapons crafted with surprising skill. Each item revealed clues about farming, building, hunting, and protecting communities, showing just how inventive and resourceful early humans were.

They also investigated how trade connected people across great distances. Instead of living separately, civilisations began exchanging goods, ideas, and skills. Trade routes became busy with merchants carrying pottery, metals, jewelry, food, and even stories from faraway lands. These exchanges helped communities grow stronger, wiser, and more connected.

Through this project, Year 3D realised that history is not just about dates and facts—it is about creativity, imagination, and survival. Artefacts became like time machines, giving students a chance to step back thousands of years and experience how people lived long ago.

Year 3D is proud to share their discoveries and looks forward to continuing their journey into the fascinating world of ancient civilisations.
