Our Upper Secondary students truly impressed us with their remarkable efforts in the debate on technology! They tackled tough topics like “brain rot,” the echo chamber effect, data violations, the right to be forgotten, and the rise of fake news and deepfake technology.
Their hard work, thorough research, and well-structured arguments demonstrated the dedication they put into preparing for this event.
In addition to these complex issues, they explored the broader impact of technology, weighing both the positives and negatives. Topics like enhanced education, increased efficiency, improved communication, as well as addiction and mental health issues were discussed, highlighting the far-reaching effects of modern technological advancements.
Through this debate, students not only deepened their understanding of critical issues but also honed valuable skills such as critical thinking, public speaking, research, teamwork, and persuasive communication.
