Year 3B is a week into cursive writing. It is something new and challenging, however, a task we are thriving at and conquering with such ease.
Cursive writing is a style of writing where all the letters in a word connect. The interconnection gives a piece of writing a beautiful
pattern that is pleasant to the eye. Cursive has been around for hundreds of years and is still taught in schools.
In cursive writing, the hooks on the tails of every letter connect to the next tail of another letter. The writer writes continuously without lifting the pen to obtain non-stop strokes allowing for a neater and faster written piece of writing.
