This week Years 1, 2 and 3 have been and are going to the Museum of Science and Toy Gallery to take a walk through their interesting exhibits which span the past two hundred years but have particular relevance to the 20th century.
Chartwell students were fascinated by the museums exhibits that took them on a journey through a timeline of scientific discoveries and offered them a magical kids section that is strictly tailored to ignite their imagination and fascination with scientific discoveries. The students had a chance to see what technology looked like throughout the last 200 years. From printing technology and typography, radio devices, measuring devices and computers to music instruments and old vacuum cleaners. It was very interesting to see how technology has changed our life and how each appliance got developed over time.
