The piñata party is slowly becoming a part of the tradition in our school and the students love it. Our goal was to work as a team, since both art and the Spanish class have participated in carrying out the project. The students have learned about the historical facts of this worldwide tradition and we prepared a quiz where they competed against each others.
Treading along the meandering paths of Kosutnjak and Fruska Gora, year 7, 8 and 9 students said goodbye to the summer season and witnessed autumn emerging in a rainbow of colours.
On Tuesday 4th of February year 10 and a part of year 12 went to the Belgrade Aquarium to enhance their Geography lesson.
Once again Chartwell Secondary took the teaching outside the classroom. During the course of the first term, secondary students had the opportunity to enrich their appreciation of art, music and Serbian by visiting the theater.
Traditionally, the first week of December is dedicated to Science and once again Chartwell students visited the largest Science Festival in this part of Europe. This year, the 13th Science Festival under the intriguing Reveal theme tried to debunk all those popular myths and misconceptions that have become part of our daily lives.
