Our Year 9 students recently took part in a thoughtful and engaging debate on the Bombing of Dresden during World War II.
Divided into two groups, they explored different perspectives, carrying out additional research and drawing on their knowledge to support contrasting claims about whether this military action was justified. We love encouraging debates in our history classes, as they help students see events from multiple perspectives and think critically. It was inspiring to see such curiosity, respect, and enthusiasm in action!
