At Chartwell, we love to make learning engaging by connecting different subjects. This month, our Year 2f students explored the fascinating life of Queen Elizabeth I through a multi-disciplinary approach.
In History class, we learned about the iconic queen and watched videos to dive deeper into her reign. In Art class, inspired by her portraits, 2f students created stunning masterpieces. They were so occupied by painting that they nearly skipped playtime! Their dedication earned praise from their Art teacher, who showcased their work as an example for other classes. Later, in English class, they reflected on their impressions of Queen Elizabeth I, composing sentences and proudly pinning them alongside their portraits in the hallway.
