To the most beautiful teachers in the world!
We have just met, and maybe you don’t know my name yet. My name is Merve.
We came to live in Belgrade four months ago on duty, and we shall stay here another 2-3 years.
Before Sarp started this school, he went to a kindengarten in Ankara, Turkey for 9 months. He is actually a very happy boy.
I had worries when we came here since it was a new country for us, a new place to live, then our communication problem, which all scared me a lot.
I made a school research, but when I met you personnally I was glad we found this place. It is for your sincerity in conversation, how you approach the child, reassuring voice. You are very beautiful.
I can only use these stereotyped sentences in English, actually I understand you most of the time. I am taking pronouncation lessons in English now, and hope to be able to talk to you better soon.
But actually what I have already learned from you is that even that we don’t speak each other’s language, there exists a “love language“.
For 4 months Sarp was very bored at home, and now he is very happy, and he goes to school with pleasure, thanks to his friends at school and a wonderful teacher.
Thank you for everything! I feel so happy that we have made such a great start.
Best regards,
MERVE
