Forces are all around us and affect everything we do. Year 6 students know that very well. They learned long time ago that a force is a push or a pull. They all understand how forces can make objects move or stop, speed them up or slow them down and make objects change direction or shape.
This week the Nursery children has enjoyed the Nursery rhyme about an egg called ‘Humpty Dumpty’.
The children had fun making 'Humpty Dumpty' eggs and acting out the nursery rhyme.
The F1 children enjoyed this topic for the past two weeks and had fun doing car paintings, making airplanes out of wooden sticks, making trucks, cars and boats out of different shapes. We also made cars from recycled rolls and bottle tops.
We are immensely proud to announce that our year 6 student, Nathalie K. won the second place in a competition "Le concours de la francophonie 2019" for primary school students. The contest was organized by the French Teachers’ Association in collaboration with the French Institute.
We started our project talking about what makes our good friends good and special. We made a list of those good qualities and wrote them into a recipe.
