It was St Nicholas' Day on Thursday. On Thursday morning the children were surprised to find a little walnut in their shoes. And there were some other yummy treats awaiting.
After checking every day this week, the children found that on Thursday the milk and biscuits were eaten by St Nicholas and the carrot we left was eaten by his donkey. We talked about who he was and how he liked to help people, especially children.
The children also did a cute St Nicholas craft to take home and December calendar.
