This month’s topic in Science for Y2A and Y2B is Light and Dark and Shadows.
Y2 has enjoyed exploring shadows and how different materials make different shadows, of various colour strength and length. We have learnt that depending on the position of the Sun, shadows can be either short or long, and that transparent materials provide shadows but those shadows are very pale. What was particularly enjoyable and amusing was drawing our friends’ silhouettes outside and measuring which one is the longest.
I have a shadow hooked to me.
Sometimes it is big.
Sometimes it is small.
Sometimes I don’t have it at all.
