Lower Primary students have put up an amazing play for their parents in Pinokio Theater. The audience was invited to re/discover Narnia and was taken to a theatrical journey where every student had a moment to shine and to push this neverending story closer to finding an adequate acting expression of an everlasting duel between doubt and faith and of a search for truth.
C.S. Lewis's The Chronicles of Narnia were the inspiration for the original script, written specially for the occasion. Original choreographies, lyrics and song adaptations were conceived to add to the play. Students have worked hard and have grown true Narnians out of this theatrical adventure. I would like to use this opportunity to give credits to Mrs Teodora, Mrs Ana and Mrs Lili for all lovely drawings, scenery, costumes and fine music in our play.
I would also like to thank to all of my wonderful colleagues who offered their helping hand so generously. Putting up a theatre play is a group effort and it requires team work. Our playful students had the opportunity to acquire self-presentation skills, as well as to learn the value of a good team work.
Thumbs up for our children!
I wish you all a relaxing summer break!
Humbly,
Andreja Markovic
