Well, what a first half-term we have been having!
Class 5A have been investigative scientists carrying out experiments on ideal conditions for germinating seeds, dissecting gladioli flowers to view all the different parts of a flower, collecting samples of seeds fallen from trees and plants in our local environment that demonstrate their method of dispersal.
But, probably the most exciting practical lesson of all, which was almost biblical, was simulating a water purifying plant and turning muddy water to clear!
It has all been very exciting! Who knew geography could be so much fun?
I wonder what our next practical lesson is going to be?
