Last week we marked the 100th day of the school year. We did various activities to celebrate the day.
Students were challenged to read 100 words, count to 100 or write 100 reasons they love their school! The countdown, along with the day itself, provided a great opportunity for teaching math, and many other cross-curricular activities. We used the celebration as a way to address the following standards in Counting and Operations in Base Ten, practicing the word problems.
