Our student delegation visited the beautiful British Embassy! They were ecstatic to learn about the culture, food, geography, monuments, myths and famous people of the United Kingdom.
Ms. Celia and Mr. Chris were there to enlighten and teach our students historical facts they were not familiar with. Each explanation was followed by a chorus of oohs and aahs of our pleasantly surprised students. During the remarkable presentation, the students recognised the London Bridge and Big Ben and in the end they asked questions to expand their understanding of the diversity the UK is comprised of.
If they could have, our students would have stayed there the entire day. As we waited for the bus to return us to Chartwell, we expressed our gratitude to the embassy for this wonderful day and for their thoughtful parting gift.
