Thursday the 17th of November was an exciting day for Year 6 students as they visited the Ethnographic Museum in Belgrade. It was a chance for them to learn about the way of life of people that lived in these areas in the past centuries.
The experienced museum curator made the exhibits come to life with interesting stories told with many details.
Some students particularly enjoyed seeing various clothing, from the humble attires of the villagers to the richly decorated clothes worn on special occasions. Others were impressed by real to life models of houses, the way they were built to best use available materials and adjusted to sometimes harsh conditions of the surrounding areas.
Inspired by the exhibition, students made notes and sketches to make their memories last.
