It's Chinese New Year and Year 3C students marked it by watching presentations and videos about the origin of the 12 signs of Chinese
Zodiac.
We learned more about the traditional ways of celebrating it, the significance of lanterns, house sweeping, the symbolism of red and gold colours. We watched the traditional dragon dance, made dragon masks and fortune tellers and it was all followed up by a reading of a comprehension text about the Year of the Rabbit.
