We are delighted to share the wonderful success of our recent Year 5 theatre performance, “Chartwell Express,” which took our audience on a magical journey through France, Peru, Greece, Egypt, and China!
Our students worked incredibly hard over the past few weeks to bring each country to life on stage through drama, music, and dance. From the elegance of French fashion and the mystery of the pyramids to the rhythms of Peruvian folk tales and the legends of ancient Greece, every scene was bursting with creativity and enthusiasm. Our adventure ended in China, with a colourful and energetic finale that celebrated tradition and unity.
This performance not only showcased the talents of our Year 5 pupils but also deepened their understanding of different cultures and histories in an imaginative and memorable way. It was a true celebration of teamwork, learning, and confidence.
A heartfelt thank you goes to all the staff who supported the production, and to you—the parents and carers—for helping with costumes, line practice, and for being such an encouraging audience on the night.
