Good deeds affect our community in profound ways, making our world a more positive place for everyone. There are so many opportunities in our everyday lives to show kindness and Christmas is a beautiful time to perform many acts of kindness.
We have put together the Days of kindness Advent Calendar to present and nurture the positive values we want our students to adopt.
Students in Primary School have been carrying out one act of kindness each day for 15 days. They read Christmas stories, wrote letters for their friends, teachers and Santa Claus, collected toys and books for charity.
Some of them were small things that had been easy to do and others were things that had required more time and parent's involvement.
This is a great time to remind ourselves that everyone deserves the same love, respect, generosity and kindness, regardless of the ways they may be different from us.
