Escaping from the busy school days, our routines and obligations, as well as the fact that the end of the year is around the corner, Chartwell Lower Secondary students and teachers embarked on their field trip to Srebrno Jezero to try and prolong the time spent together at least a bit.
Our high hopes and great expectations were even exceeded as the trip ended up being a bundle of fun, laughter, new friendships and crushes, but also of picturesque landscapes, historical sites and lots of fresh air. Whether it was a hiking tour to the breathtaking 'Ploce' viewpoint, a visit to the old Roman city or famous Ljubicevo Stables, our outings were both educational and enjoyable. A cold juice or an ice-cream on the site provided many of us with the much needed refreshment in the hot pre-summer days, while others opted for a dip in the pool back in the hotel. Some boys were relentless when it comes to sports, so we would like to think that during our stay at Srebrno Jezero we've managed to meet almost everyone's needs. Smiling faces, bright skies and the energy bursting from our photos are a true proof of that; just like great memories we will cherish, and catchy tunes we will never forget.
