Last week was all about celebrating the mathematical phenomenon number π (Pi). Each year, traditionally, we organize an exhibition of artwork called: ART INSPIRED BY NUMBERS.
Once again, we proved that by using creativity and imagination you can combine math and art and create the most amazing artwork. Being irrational is not so difficult when it comes to art and Pi, it is, actually, one thing that connects these together and because of that we allowed our imagination to run free and played with numbers and other math symbols.
While using art as a tool, we created a completely new world by drawing the comics with Y7, Y8, and Y9 students. Students relished the idea of giving personality to the numbers and math symbols and creating characters in the story.
