The children in the pre-school spend most of their time with their class teachers and focus on learning through meaningful play.
They have specialist classes in music, music and movement (eurhythmics) and physical education.
Children who stay for the whole day have a rest after lunch. A quiet room with appropriate bedding is provided for children who may need a nap after lunch.
Arrangements can be made for the younger children in Nursery and F1 to go home after lunch.
The timetable has a flexible structure in terms of areas of learning but the school start, breaks and end times are always the same. The pre-school keeps a record of your child’s attendance. If your child is unable to come to school because he/she is ill, please inform the school accordingly. This will also allow us to cancel your child’s lunch should they have a catered lunch.
The pre-school fosters a culture of effective time management, and the parents are kindly requested to drop off and pick up their child on time.
