Chartwell International School
Chartwell Primary has a full-time counselor to address the affective needs of students and their families. e.g. study methods, conflict resolutions, emotional issues, relationships etc. PD classes and monthly Assemblies enhance each student’s emotional and social development.
The school counselor works in close cooperation with the teachers and parents in the best interest of the student.
Counselors are trained to listen without judging and to help children sort out their thoughts and feelings.
Counselors in primary schools often use creative activities such as drawing, art, sand trays and writing to help a child express their concerns.
