Education encompasses much more than the academic program offers at school. In order to achieve this, the Chartwell students often take the teaching out of the classroom and the students are involved in the work of the local community which requires from the students to take an active part in the communities in which they live.
The emphasis is on developing community awareness and concerns and acquiring the skills to make an effective contribution to society.Students are involved in numerous fund raising activities and workshops intended to help those in need. Recently the student have raised money through traditionally celebrating Bonfire Night and have bought three TV sets for the children of the City Orphanage. For the same children Chartwell Students organized a Christmas Party with Santa Clause and gifts. The funds for this were raised traditionally through a bake sale.
