“That is one good thing about this world (...) there are always sure to be more Springs.” - L.M. Montgomery
In April, Chartwell Upper Primary students prepared a splendiferous and invigorating Spring Bazaar in support of Animal Rescue Serbia (ARS), a charity that aims to regulate and ensure the welfare and rights of various animals, such as cats and dogs.
The Spring Bazaar was in keeping with the main themes of Spring; namely, growth and life. Students were engaged in a plethora of activities during the event. They made and sold various foods such as cookies, cakes, and pies; lemonade; toys and board games; flowers, too - what would Spring be like without bounteous and beautiful flowers? Games such as bingo and activities such as face painting were also part of the festivities. All in all, this endeavour managed to rack up 230,000 dinars - not a small amount indeed!
It is events like these that keep the positive energy of schools thriving, and the Chartwell Upper Primary team do hope that all individuals who attended it had a fun and memorable time!
