To celebrate Chinese New Year, Year 5 students explored traditions connected to this special holiday. They created colorful paper lanterns, a well-known symbol of Chinese New Year, and had fun learning how to use chopsticks.
Bobby helped the class learn how to use chopsticks and introduced them to a few Chinese words, helping everyone learn more about the language and culture. As they worked, the students listened to traditional Chinese music and enjoyed tasty Chinese snacks, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
In Art class, Luka showed the students how to write Chinese characters, adding a creative and cultural touch to their learning.
