Escaping from the busy school days, our routines and obligations, as well as the fact that the end of the year is around the corner, Chartwell Lower Secondary students and teachers embarked on their field trip to Srebrno Jezero to try and prolong the time spent together at least a bit.
This year, for the first time, our year 8 and 9 students participated in the international competition, STEM Olympiad, in categories Math and Popular Science.
With excellent results most of them qualified for the final round of this competition and the best ones won medals.
After a few months of fun, thrilling and at times nerve-wracking matches, we have finally crowned this year’s table tennis king.
Most people believe that there is no connection between art and math, but that is not true. Art is where you can release your creativity and be irrational, similar to the irrational nature of the Pi number. Combining these two we have proved that you can create art inspired by numbers.
