In the past few weeks we found out that winter, with its sometimes icy cold weather, brings many changes to the world around us. As we learned how to adapt to these changes, we started wondering what it is like for animals to do the same.
With a little help from food colours F2 scientists observed how coarse salt melts ice. Useful feature in icy cold winter weather.
